We'll finally solve the featherweight puzzle as top Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contender Conor McGregor looks to continue his meteoric rise to the top of the rankings at the expense of venerable kickboxing veteran Dennis Siver.

In the main event of UFC Fight Night 59, which pops off inside the TD Garden in Boston, Mass., TONIGHT (Jan. 18, 2015). The fight card airs live on UFC Fight Pass and FOX Sports 1, and also features a kick-ass co-headliner pitting former lightweight kingpin Ben Henderson opposite former WEC rival Donald Cerrone.

Round 1: HERE WE GO! Time to put up or shut up. Conor opens up aggressive with two body kicks. Spinning wheel kick misses for McGregor. Siver lands a kick, Conor drops, could've been a slip. The kick helped in the fall, though. Siver shoots, stuffed. Clean left lands for Conor. Flying knee by Conor, but Siver catches him with a left. Nice. Siver not backing down one bit. They trade strikes. Conor with a leg kick. Right hand for McGregor. Siver drops Conor with a leg kick. Body kick for Siver. Nice kicks from Siver. Conor with a jumping knee and a straight left from Conor that lands. Siver's face is a mess. Time, Dean lets Siver get his mouthpiece in. High kick lands for Conor. Siver almost gets a takedown, but Conor showing his defense. High kick for Conor. Conor taking over now with one strike after another, Siver cant quite land a takedown, Conor back up. Conor is now peppering Siver with shot after shot. The round comes to a close. 10-9 McGregor.
Round 2: Conor opens up with more "spinning shit," in the famous words of Carlos Condit. COnor landing with the jab, as Siver returns a kick. Straight left for Conor lands. Siver shoots, no luck. Left hands drops Siver. Notorious in for the kill. Full mount. Raining down elbows. They weren't really landed clean, but Dean puts an end to the fight. Conor jumps out of the cage and confronts Aldo in the stands. The champ just stands there, cool as a cucumber with a smile on his face while Conor simply looks unprofessional, in my opinion. This fight, folks, is gonna be good.
Final result: Conor McGregor def. Dennis Siver via technical knockout (TKO) round 2 (1:54).

155 lbs.: Ben Henderson vs. Donald Cerrone
Round 1: They meet in the middle. Solid jab from Cerrone, followed by another. Benson misses with a left. They exchange strikes, with none landing cleanly. Nice right from Henderson. Leg kick from Henderson. Both men a bit cautions and hesitant. Body kick from Henderson. Left hook from Cerrone, follows with a front kick. Four consecutive kicks to the thigh from Benson. Right hand from Cerrone. Benson continues to target the thigh. Powerful body kick from Cerrone. Very close round. I have to give it to "Cowboy." 10-9 Cerrone.
Round 2: Benson,again, opens up with a few kicks to the thigh of Cerrone. Switch kick by Cerrone, as he eats a knee to the body. Cerrone yet to open up his full kicking arsenal. Good combination from Benson, to the body and then a leg kick. Donald ducks down and Benson lands a leg kick. Again, he targets Cerrone's thighs. Donald comes in with a right, doesn't faze Benson. It's been a standup affair, but no one has been able to land a hard, clean shot. Benson whiffs on a huge uppercut. 1-2 from "Cowboy," and then a good head kick. Cerrone gets the takedown from the clinch. In half guard. Cerrone lets him up. Clean back leg kick from Cerrone that lands right on the meaty part of Cerrone's thigh. Nice clean thud. Flying knee from Benson and Cerrone lands a high kick. Another close round. 10-9 Henderson.
Round 3: Henderson opens up with right that grazes Cerrone. Nice left hand from Cerrone lands. Leg kick from Cerrone. It's anyone's fight, this round could decide it. Cerrone lands two consecutive strikes. Head kick misses for Donald. Head kick from Benson. It might have rocked Cerrone for a second. "Cowboy" needs to pick up the pace, or Benson might steal this one. Head kick from Cerrone. Benson with a right hook to the body. Donald lands a takedown, but Benson right back up. Nice front leg kick from Cerrone. Flying knee from Benson, Cerrone tries a takedown with no success. They trade body kicks. Cerrone lands a left and the fight comes to an end. "Smooth" may have stole it. 10-9 Henderson.
Final result: Donald Cerrone def. Ben Henderson via unanimous decision. WOW! The judges are off their game tonight.

185 lbs.: Uriah Hall vs. Ron Stallings
Round 1: Hall comes out with a flying knee. It misses. Stallings with a nice body kick. Good leg kick from Stallings, but eats a solid jab for his efforts. Hall whiffs on a huge right. Strong leg kick from Stallings that kind of buckled Uriah. Spnning wheelkick from Hall is blocked. Uppercut from Stallings. Stallings pushing the pace, not backing down one bit. Hall drops Stalling with a right. Follows up for the kill, stalling defends well. Hall cant seal the deal, so he lets him back up. Stallings left eye is a mess from that punch and Dean calls time to have the ringside physician check it. Dean puts a halt to the fight on doctor's orders. Very unfortunate for Stallings, as he was doing pretty good in his UFC debut. He has one two cuts, but we've all seen worse get the go ahead to continue. Very disappointing for Stallings.
Final result: Uriah Hall def. Ron Stallings via TKO in round one (Dr. stoppage, cut).

155 lbs.: Gleison Tibau vs. Norman Parke
Round 1: Parke opens up with a head kick. Spinning kick attempt from Parke. Tibau being patient. Tibau whiffs with a left. Jab to the body from Parke and another miss from Tibau. Tibau swings wildly again and catches air. Nice jab from Parke but gets tagged with a left. Nice double jab from Parke. Fake shot from Parke and he gets tagged with a left from the Brazilian. Spinning kick attempt from TIbau blocked. Parke shoots but its blocked and gets tagged with a knee then a left. Nice right from Tibau lands cleanly. Parke shoots again and its stuffed. In the clinch as the rounds comes to a close with a head kick attempts from Parke. 10-9 Tibau.
Round 2: Parke opens up with another spinning kick that whiffs and Tibau bull rushes him to the cage. Parke trying to put on the pressure but can't land anything cleanly. Left hand from Parke, doesn't faze the Brazilian, who was just dubbed a "gorilla" by Joe Rogan. Parke whiffs on an uppercut, he shoots for another takedown, but it's stuffed. Tibau whiffs on a 1-2. Both are swinging with no success. Tibau lands a great takedown. Parke quickly back up to his feet as he pushes his foe up against the cage. Stalemate. Tibau working tirelessly for the takedown, and he gets it. Parke, though, as quick as a gazelle back to his feet. Parke working the knees to the body. Clinch work from both men and they separate. Nice kick to the body from Tibau. Parke shoots again and Tibau stuffs it. Wasn't the most exciting round, but the Brazilian is up 2-0. Tibau 10-9.
Round 3: Parke opens up with a heavy left that barley misses its mark. Parke shoots in again, but Tibau's strength proving to be too much as he stuffs again. Uppercut from Parke catches air. Tibau shoots in and Parke moves away like a matador avoiding the bull. Nice left hand from Parke tags Tibau as he follows it up with a clean jab. Parke once again presses Tibau against the cage. Body kick from Parke finds its mark. They trade strikes, but Parke needs to pick up the pace if he wants to steal this. He shoots in and Tibau had a guillotine for a moment but let it go. Parke has another takedown stuffed. Elbow attemtp from Parke grazes his foes head as he proceeds to walk him down. Overhand left from Parke lands, but eats a sneaky right from Tibau. Parke goes for a throw but Tibau defends it well and he gets the back for a second. They separate. Parke tries to pop off some offense as the final horn sounds. Parke walks away confident he won. He'll be disappointed in a few seconds. 10-9 Parke.

170 lbs.: Cathal Pendred vs. Sean Spencer
Round 1: They come out swinging and Pendred immediately gets the clinch on Spencer. The Irish faithful cheering loudly for Pendred and he slams Spencer to the mat. Body shots from Pendred. Spencer gets to his feet, but Pendred is still relentlessly searching for the takedown. Spencer with a few elbows, and Pendred breaks away. Spencer just misses on a combination, and Pendred lands a left hand. Pendred gets clipped with three huge right hands and is almost out! Pendred gets the desperate clinch on the fence, but Spencer breaks off. Pendred with a big right hand, but he is not keeping his hands up. Spencer with a right hand. Counter left hook from Spencer, but he misses on the big overhand. Pendred gets a vital takedown and lands some shots, but Spencer gets to his feet. Pendred clinches Spencer to the fence, but he breaks off and lands a body kick on the Irishman. Jab from Spencer, but he eats an uppercut as the round ends. 10-9 Spencer
Round 2: Uppercut from Pendred to start. Spencer wading forward looking to set Pendred up. Pendred is clipped, but eats another big shot. Leg kick from Pendred. Spencer is way faster on the feet here, but Pendred lands a nice body kick. Spencer lands a left hand, but misses a right hook and uppercut. 1-2 from Spencer. Body kick from Pendred. Hard leg kick from Pendred, and another. Body shot from Spencer, and he just misses two big hooks. Spencer's speed is astonishing in comparison to Pendred. Spencer hurts Pendred with a right hand, but the Irishman's chin is holding up. Jab from Spencer, and a right hand. Huge overhand right from Spencer, and Pendred quickly clinches up with him. Pendred picks up Spencer and slams him with about a minute to go. Pendred looking for a kimura and locks up a scissors choke with his legs on Spencer! It looks deep, but Spencer breaks free and lands a huge right as they get to their feet. Unbelievable finish to that round. 10-9 Spencer
Round 3: Not much action early on, but Pendred misses a big right hand. Spencer eats an uppercut, but answers with a combination of his own. Big leg kick from Pendred. Spencer is trying to set Pendred up here. Another hard leg kick from Pendred. Pendred's body is far too rigid and stiff, and he suffers on the feet because of it. Spencer is landing some powerful right hands this round, but nothing that can take Pendred out. Spencer is walking him down, but Pendred is just getting out of the way. Uppercut from Pendred lands. Pendred desperately shoots in for a takedown, but can't get it. Left hand from Pendred, and he badly misses a spinning back kick. Pendred takes Spencer down, but can't hold him down. Right hand from Spencer, and he misses a huge haymaker to end the fight. 10-9 Spencer

170 lbs.: John Howard vs. Lorenz Larkin
Round 1: Larkin takes a leg kick early. Larkin throwing heat, but misses. Head kick blocked by Howard and he pushes Larkin to the fence. Knee from Larkin, but answered by a big leg kick from Howard. Jab from Larkin, but a beautiful leg kick from Howard. Stinging jab from Larkin again, and they exchange leg kicks. Lots of movement from Larkin, but these leg kicks may slow him down. Larkin hurts Howard very badly with a right hand and he pounces with a violent combination! Howard looks out, but he is trying to regain his senses. Larkin wants the fight stopped, and after several hard shots on the fence it is over. Talk about an impressive debut at welterweight for Lorenz Larkin!

170 lbs.: Zhang Lipeng vs. Chris Wade
Round 1: Lipeng hits Wade low right away and the action is stopped. On the restart, Wade lands an impressive high kick. Wade shoots in and clinches Lipeng to the fence. Lipeng gets double underhooks, but Wade pulls off an outstanding hip toss to land into Lipeng's half-guard. Wade with an elbow. Lipeng gets to his feet, but eats a knee. Lipeng answers with a knee of his own. Another knee goes low for Lipeng, and the ref stops it again. Two hard leg kicks from Wade on the restart. They clinch after a slip from Lipeng. Lipeng looks for the trip takedown, but Wade defends well. Wade reverses Lipeng on the fence, but gets reversed himself soon after. The referee breaks them off the cage, but on the restart Wade clinches him right back to the fence. Big knee from Lipeng to end the round. 10-8 Wade
Round 2: They exchange early, and Wade gets the better of the strikes. Wade clinches Lipeng on to the fence, pushes off, lands a kick, and goes right back to the fence. Lipeng was holding on to the fence to stuff a takedown, but the ref missed it. Wade still holding on to the single leg, and gets to his feet, once again clinching Lipeng on the fence. Now Wade stuffs a takedown, and back to the clinch. Lipeng goes low again, and the referee stops the action again. Lipeng is deducted a point for the low blows, and Wade lands a nice sidekick on the restart. Leg kick from Wade. Lipeng lands a straight right. Wade with a deep shot and gets the takedown. Wade unable to utilize ground and pound as Lipeng is defending well. Lipeng gives up his back in order to get to his feet, but Wade is keeping a ton of pressure on him with a half-nelson. Lipeng tries to scramble out, but Wade stays on top as the round ends. 10-9 Wade
Round 3: Lipeng lands a nice front kick, but Wade pushes forward and clinches him on the fence again. Wade reverses Lipeng in a takedown attempt, earning another hip toss takedown in the process. Wade works into side control, but Lipeng gets to his feet and reverses Wade on the fence. Wade re-establishes control on the fence and grounds Lipeng again. Not much action here, but Wade lands a couple knees. Lipeng gets to his feet, but Wade clinches him on the fence and lands several knees. Now Wade pouring it on, but he doesn't have the gas to finish off Lipeng. 10-9 Wade

125 lbs.: Patrick Holohan vs. Shane Howell
Round 1: Holohan goes high with the kick early, but Howell answers with a kick of his own. Holohan pushing forward, and lands a nice 1-2. Leg kick from Holohan, and he takes down Howell easily. The Irish crowd is chanting for Holohan as he takes Howell's back. One hook in for the Irishman. Hard elbow from Holohan and he locks up the body triangle. Holohan looking for the rear-naked choke and landing elbows. Body shots from Holohan. The Irishman is trying to choke out Howell with one arm! It looks deep, but Howell is not submitting. Holohan landing heel shots, and now sinks in the full rear-naked choke. Rogan is convinced the fight is over, but Howell breaks free somehow! Holohan flattens out Howell again, and is landing some powerful shots on the mat. Holohan is absolutely dominating this fight thus far. Holohan relentless on his back, but Howell reverses him with 15 seconds to go and lands some shots of his own. 10-9 Holohan.
Round 2: Howell comes out aggressively in round two, but misses on several hooks. Nice right hand from Holohan and then a left. Holohan with a lot of movement here, and lands a body shot. Howell is really timid here and Holohan takes him down. Holohan not really doing much on top here, but he is controlling Howell. Holohan transitions into half-guard, but he is not throwing any ground and pound here. Holohan looking to get into full mount, but settles for side control. Howell tries to get to his feet, but Holohan pounces and gets his back. Howell is simply defending here, and can not do anything offensively. Holohan looks for a late neck crank, but Howell breaks free. 10-9 Holohan.
Round 3: Howell looks for an uppercut early, but Holohan easily avoids it. Howell with a body kick, and Holohan answers. Holohan with two right hands, but Howell is now the aggressor. Right hand lands for Howell, and a left behind it. Howell lands an overhand right, and Holohan is really passive here. Howell just misses a front kick. Holohan with a takedown attempt, but Howell gets pinned on the fence. Holohan with knees to the thigh. Trip takedown for Holohan with two minutes to go. Holohan once again has Howell's back, and he sinks in the deep body triangle alongside a rear-naked choke attempt. Howell surviving again with just a minute to go. This is an utterly dominant performance from Holohan, but this third down is very uninspiring. Holohan flattens Howell out, but loses the body triangle. Holohan looking for the finish late, but can not get it. 10-9 Holohan

Round 1: Case misses a leg kick and Perez answers with one of his own. Case with a stiff left, and Perez misses a head kick. Hard leg kick from Perez, and Case clinches him to the fence. Perez reverses and takes Case down. They get to their feet, but Case trips Perez to the mat. Case with heavy pressure on top. Case postures up and lands a few bombs on top of Perez. Perez looking for the kimura, but Case gets out easily. Case postures up again and lands some heavy shots. They restart on the feet after Case stands up. Leg kick from Case and another. Perez very timid on the feet here. 10-9 Case
Round 2: Big 1-2 from Case as Perez lands a hard leg kick. Case with another 1-2, and Perez misses a left hook. Straight right from Case and a body kick. Perez misses the spinning back kick. Perez goes high, but just misses. Case takes Perez down, but nearly gets caught in a leg lock! Case landing punches in order to break free, and Perez lets go of the submission. Elbows to the body from Case and he transitions into side control. Perez gets to his feet, but Case is relentless with his pressure. Perez looks exhausted at this point and Case is in full control. Case looking for a kimura with two minutes to go in the round. Case cranks it, but Perez breaks free. Perez drops for a leg lock again, but a hard elbow from Case forces Perez to let go. Big ground and pound from Case here with short elbows. Case dominant here as he controls Perez on the mat. 10-9 Case
Round 3: Perez is pasted with a right hand early on in the third round. Lots of feints here from both men. Perez pushes forward, but he has nothing left in the gas tank. Case takes Perez down, but Perez is looking for a guillotine. Case breaks free, gets to half-guard and then full back mount. Big elbows and punches from Case in full mount and Perez is just eating them. The referee steps in and ends the beating. Incredible performance from Johnny Case.

145 lbs.: Charles Rosa vs. Sean Soriano
Round 1: Rosa switching stances early, just misses a leg kick. Body kick from Rosa and Soriano counters with a leg kick. Rosa misses a head kick and Soriano lands low. Rosa counters a Soriano leg kick and takes him down. Soriano looking for a triangle choke early, but Rosa is defending thus far. Elbows from Soriano, and Rosa breaks free and they get to their feet. Good leg kick from Rosa and a straight left. Leg kick from Soriano after a short break in the action after a glove malfunction. Rosa charges in with a 1-2, but Soriano lands a very nice kick. Soriano lands a left hook and leg kick, but Rosa lands a right himself. Rosa tags Soriano with a left hand and Soriano misses badly on a kick. Rosa with another takedown, but Soriano gets right back to his feet. Big left hand for Soriano lands and a knee. Soriano is dipping and making Rosa miss. Rosa presses Soriano to the cage, but is reversed. Soriano gets a headlock and just misses on a big knee to end the round. 10-9 Soriano
Round 2: Soriano looks sharp to start, lands another leg kick. Rosa is limping from Soriano's leg kicks. Good right hand from Rosa, but Soriano is firing back with stinging punches and kicks. Kick to the body and takedown for Soriano. Rosa looking for a kneebar, but Soriano defends. Rosa gets to his feet, but eats a knee. Soriano trips Rosa again, but Rosa gets to his feet and rolls for a leg lock. Soriano defends perfectly again. Rosa attacks with a deep armbar, and it is tight. Soriano is patiently defending, and has to sacrifice being in side control in order to not get submitted. Soriano gets up, looks for a hip toss, but ends up on his back again as Rosa transitions into full mount. Rosa gets back mount, but only has one hook in. Soriano gets back to his feet. Soriano gets a takedown, Rosa rolls for a leg, misses but gets back to his feet. Rosa drops down for a deep peruvian neck-tie with seconds to go! The bell saves Soriano. 10-9 Rosa
Round 3: Hard leg kick from Soriano to start. Right hand from Soriano and he fails on a takedown. Rosa lands, but Soriano lands a hard right and leg kick. Body kick and punch from Soriano. Big knee from Soriano and he slips into guard. Rosa passes guard and gets full mount. Rosa gets back mount with only one hook again. Rosa rides the back too high and Soriano shrugs him off the top. Deep armbar from Rosa and Soriano slams him to get him off! Rosa now back on top in side control. Soriano gets to his feet, and clinches Rosa on the fence. Big knees from Soriano and Rosa lands to the body. Big takedown from Rosa with a minute to go. Rosa looking for a late guillotine, but Soriano defends. Rosa now looking for a d'arce and it is deep! Soriano taps and that is it. Well... On the replay it looks like Soriano only tapped once, but a great win for Rosa regardless.

205 lbs.: Sean O'Connell vs. Matt Van Buren
Round 1: Van Buren lands a right immediately, but O'Connell throwing heat right back. Big body kick from Van Buren, and O'Connell pushes forward and clinches Van Buren on the fence. Punches from O'Connell in the clinch, but Van Buren breaks off and lands a body and leg kick. 1-2 and a body kick from Van Buren. Very active first round for Van Buren, and O'Connell pushes Van Buren on the fence again. O'Connell looks for a takedown, but gives up and Van Buren reverses him on the cage with several knees. Inside leg kick checked by O'Connell. Van Buren lands a right hook and is pushed up to the fence again. O'Connell lands a stiff left hand, but eats a hard leg kick. Van Buren lands a left of his own alongside a knee as O'Connell pushes him to the fence again. Leg kick and knee from Van Buren as they break off. O'Connell with a nice body shot as Van Buren fires to the head. Straight right for Van Buren lands, and O'Connell takes him to the fence again. Two big knees end the round for Van Buren.
Round 2: Van Buren's corner asked him for more "Machida action". And from there Van Buren goes back to knees to kick off the round. O'Connell fires back, but he is getting peppered by Van Buren. Rogan just announced on the broadcast that O'Connell has eaten 27 knees to the body thus far. Ouch. O'Connell's pace has slowed significantly, but he lands a big left hand. This is very sloppy. Hard leg kick from Van Buren, he gets the clinch, and lands two knees. Knee right down the middle from Van Buren. O'Connell swinging for the fences, and he clips Van Buren big time with a right hand. Van Buren is nearly out on his feet, but lands another vicious knee. Van Buren looks for a takedown, but doesn't get even close. O'Connell gets the clinch on the fence, but he is eating elbows. Van Buren is either exhausted or still hurt (or both), because he can barely stand up straight. More clinch work from O'Connell to finish the round.
Round 3: They exchange leg kicks, and Van Buren lands another knee. O'Connell lands a short left, and Van Buren misses a front kick. Left hook to the body from O'Connell and Van Buren looks gassed again. Van Buren still fighting though, lands another knee as O'Connell continues to press forward.
