"Your last fight was against Dan Henderson. You beat a guy that was 50 years old. And now you're stepping in there against a 27-year-old who's going to come in there at 227 pounds -- healthy, young and athletic. If he thinks he's getting in there against a Dan Henderson, or that's giving him any type of sense of security where he thinks he's just going to rule the light heavyweight division, he's sadly mistaken."
I get the feeling Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is not overly impressed with Daniel Cormier's lopsided win over mixed martial arts (MMA) legend Dan Henderson, which came at the UFC 173 pay-per-view (PPV) event earlier this year in Las Vegas, Nevada (watch it here). Probably because "DC" beat a fighter who is 50 years old. Well, not really, but "Bones" (via Sherdog) is trying to make a point that "Hendo" is over the hill and knocking him around -- not long after beating the brakes off a barista -- does not constitute a legitimate threat to the throne. Is he right? We'll find out in the championship main event of UFC 182 in just over a week, right here!
