Lyoto Machida stopped CB Dollaway in the very first round of their middleweight match-up in the main event of last night's (Sat., Dec. 20, 2014) UFC Fight Night 58: "Machida vs. Dollaway" event from the Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil on Fox Sports 1. It was how he did it that will be remembered/replayed on highlight reels for years to come. About one minute into the contest, Machida,who had been patient as could be up to that point, as usual, fired off a kick to the body that landed with expert precision. The resulting slap echoed throughout the arena and Dollaway responded by crumpling to the mat in a heap of flesh and failure. He was done. There was simply no way he could properly defend himself against the follow up onslaught of punches, so the referee stepped in to stop it. See it to believe it.
