UFC on Fight Night 58 bonuses: Lyoto Machida body kick knockout earns $50K

UFC Fight Night 58: "Machida vs. Dollaway" from the Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.

This time around, no "Fight of the Night" award was given. Instead, UFC President Dana White opted to pass out four separate "Performance of the Night" bonuses.

Those went to Lyoto Machida (for his body kick TKO of CB Dollaway), Renan Barao (for his submission finish of Mitch Gagnon), Vitor Miranda (for his last second stoppage of Jake Collier), and Erick Silva (for his lightning fast submission of Mike Rhodes).

Here are the special UFC Fight Night 58 bonuses:

Performance of the Night -- Lyoto Machida

Performance of the Night -- Renan Barao

Performance of the Night -- Vitor Miranda

Performance of the Night -- Erick Silva

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
