Video: CM Punk roasted by Michael Landsberg 'Off the Record,' willing to fight Anderson Silva 'tomorrow' for right price

"Who I fight isn't 100 percent up to me. I don't think it's 100 percent up to any fighter. That's what the [UFC matchmaker] Joe Silva's of the world are for. Would I fight Nate Diaz? This is where he takes it out of context. Yea, I would fight anybody given the proper time to prepare for it. Would that be a wise decision at this juncture in my career? Probably not. But I would also fight Anderson Silva tomorrow if you paid me the correct amount of money to do so."

CM Punk vs. Chef Boyardee? Why not? They both have the same experience as a professional fighter. That was one of the many digs "Off the Record" host Michael Landsberg (via Zombie Prophet) had for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) somethingweight Phil Brooks, who was doing the media rounds on Thursday to promote a fight he doesn't have while working out at a gym he hasn't found. So what else is there to talk about? Nothing we haven't already covered in greater detail both here and here, but at least with Landsberg you don't get as many softballs as with some of the other major media outlets. And as far as fighting Anderson Silva, one of the greatest combatants of all time, I'm sure most of us would walk the Brazilian plank if the price was right. Let's start the bidding at one meeel-yun dollurs.
