Jens Pulver vs Fransino Tirta set for ONE FC 'Odyssey of Champions' on Feb. 14 in Jakarta

Former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver will be back in action on February 14th when he takes on undefeated Indonesian Fransino Tirta at ONE FC 26: "Odyssey of Champions" which is set for the Istora Senayan in Jakarta.

Pulver (27-19-1) is coming towards the end of his career but the 40 year old still represents a tough test for Tirta (16-0-1) who has only fought once in the last three years and, having spent his career competing predominantly in Indonesia, has never been in with such an experienced opponent.

It will be ONE FC's second event in the 15,000 capacity Istora Senayan and the fourth time the promotion has been to Jakarta. Indonesia is home to some 250 million people and one of the fastest growing economies in South East Asia but the MMA market remains in its infancy.

As well as being undefeated after 17 professional fights Tirta also holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and ONE FC will be hoping that thrusting the best fighter which Indonesia has ever produced in with one of the greatest lightweights of all time will capture the imagination of fight fans in the country.

Pulver has fought three times for ONE FC previously, twice at 135 pounds and once at 145 pounds and this fight is scheduled to take place in the bantamweight division on what is set to be the promotion's second card of 2015 with an event in Guangzhao already confirmed for February 6th.
