TUF 20 Finale bonuses: Carla Esparza submission earns $50K

The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 Finale: "A Champion Will Be Crowned" from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 26 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.

This time around, Carla Esparza and Yancy Medeiros earned "Performance of the Night" bonuses for their submission victories over Rose Namajunas and Joe Proctor, respectively.

"Fight of the Night" was awarded to the thrilling back-and-forth battle between Jessica Penne and Randa Markes won by the former via split decision on the evening's preliminary card.

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
