There is no better way to say "Happy Valentine's Day" than by taking your significant other to a cagefighting event.
With that in mind, I'm happy to share the news that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is heading back to the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado, for its upcoming "Fight Night" mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1 on Feb. 14, 2015.
UFC made the announcement on Saturday night via Twitter.
The world's largest combat sports promotion hasn't seen the "Mile-High City" since 2010, when Jon Jones dismantled Brandon Vera in the VERSUS TV main event. "Bones" went on to become light heavyweight champion, while "The Truth" was shown the door, eventually resurfacing in ONE FC.
The city of Broomfield is sandwiched between popular tourist destinations Denver and Boulder. No fights have been announced for this upcoming card; however, you can expect that to change sooner, rather than later.
