Luke Rockhold talked the talk and when it was time he walked the walk when he knocked down Michael Bisping with a harsh head kick followed up by a one-armed guillotine to become the first man to ever submit the Brit in his pro fighting career. It was a perfect end to UFC Fight Night 55: "Rockhold vs. Bisping" from the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia on UFC Fight Pass, an event that featured a record 11 finishes in as many fights. It was clear from the moment the referee started the contest that Bisping had nothing for Rockhold, whose measured approach led him to breaking his promise of a first round finish but led to his more-or-less pitching a shutout into the second. It was yet another telling result in Bisping's long, disappointing career. Every time he gets close and/or talks his way into a meaningful battle with high stakes, he seems to come up short. "I'm going nowhere," he remarked in the post-fight interview. At 36-years-old, that much now seems crystal clear.
