World Series of Fighting (WSOF) announced that Jorge "Macaco" Patino will battle Eric Reynolds in a live NBC Sports Network televised lightweight contest at WSOF 15 in Tampa, Fla. on Nov. 15, 2014.
The card already features a tripleheader of title fights, as middleweight titleholder David Branch takes on Yushin Okami, lightweight champion Justin Gaethje takes on another former UFC fighter in Melvin Guillard, and Jessica Aguilar fights Kalindra Faria.
"With the addition of this fourth televised bout between Macaco Patino and Eric Reynolds, I think it is safe to say that World Series of Fighting has put together, hands down, not only the most relevant, but also the most entertaining fight card on paper, from top to bottom, on Nov. 15," said World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo in this week's release.
Patino holds a first-round knockout win over current UFC fighter Ronaldo Souza and Reynolds has finished 16 opponents in 18 career wins by technical knockout or submission.
Tickets for the WSOF 15 event, priced from $20 (Additional fees may apply), are on sale at Ticketmaster.com, the USF Sun Dome box office, all Ticketmaster outlets and charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
The first preliminary bout will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET. Live fights begin at 9:00 p.m. ET and MMAmania.com will (of course) have live coverage all night long.
