Not since Thornton Melon laced up his trunks have we witnessed such a hilarious dive.
Well, alleged dive, according to a report from Daily Mail, which has a firsthand account from an inside source that says Mickey Rourke -- the 62-year-old Hollywood action star -- beat down a mentally-challenged homeless man, Elliot Seymour, last weekend in Russia.
"All these headlines Mickey Rourke beat someone half his age... yeah he did but you're not telling them the real story, the real story is he's homeless and desperate and he will probably go back to living on the streets when he gets back. People have no clue about that. There's so much more to the situation than people know, and there's so much that's more important than the fact it was fixed, which is the fact he doesn't have a home and he's got some mental health issues. They told him to throw the fight I hope he gets home safely and paid. They wanted him down in the 4th."
Watch video of their boxing match right here.
While the clouds of shadiness have cast a shadow over this recent fight, it should be noted that Rourke was an amateur boxer prior to his acting career, and even spent some time in the pros under the tutelage of Freddie Roach. If it was rigged, there is a strong possibility the Expendables star wasn't part of the fix.
When in doubt, blame Putin.
