UFC rankings updated after UFC Fight Night 57: Frankie Edgar climbs to No. 2, Edson Barboza skyrockets to No. 6

The official Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) rankings have been updated following UFC Fight Night 57, which went down this past weekend (Sat., Nov. 22, 2014) in Austin, Texas.

Frankie Edgar jumped to the No. 2 spot after beating down Cub Swanson before choking him out in the waning seconds of their five-round headlining bout (video). Cub, meanwhile, dropped down to No. 4 with the loss.

In the lightweight division, Edson Barboza soared all the way to the No. 6 ranking, jumping up five spots after he outpointed Bobby Green in the co-main event of the evening (highlights). Aside from losing his seven-fight win streak, Green dropped down a few pegs to No. 9.

And, once again -- for whatever reason -- Anderson Silva and Ronda Rousey are continuing to battle for the No. 7 position in the pound-for-pound rankings.
