UFC Fight Night 57 bonuses: Frankie Edgar last second submission earns $50K

UFC Fight Night 57: "Edgar vs. Swanson" from Austin, Texas has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.

This time around, Frankie Edgar and Oleksiy Oliynyk were awarded "Performance of the Night" bonuses for their submission and knockout victories over Cub Swanson and Jared Rosholt, respectively.

The "Fight of the Night" award went to the back-and-forth war of attrition between Paige VanZant and Kailin Curran that saw the former score a third round technical knockout victory over the latter.

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
