UFC on FOX 15 set for April 18 in Newark, NJ

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is coming back to "The Garden State" for its UFC on FOX 15 mixed martial arts (MMA) event inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Sat., April 18, 2015.

The promotion made the announcement during the UFC Fight Night 57: "Edgar vs. Swanson" card (results here). No main event has been determined at this time; however, the promotion is expected to finalize that pairing in the coming weeks.

The "Dirty Jersey" event will be the second FOX card of 2015, not long after UFC on FOX 14 lights up the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The last time the television network was in New Jersey was for UFC on FOX 3, when Jim Miller was smoked by Nate Diaz.

The locale is also a good way to draw New York-based fight fans, who still can't enjoy UFC events in "The Empire State" because of that goofy law, but until then, it's just a short drive over the bridge.
