KNOCKOUT! Frankie Edgar vs. Cub Swanson free fight videos preview UFC Fight Night 57 FOX Sports 1 main event

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight titleholder-turned-featherweight contender Frankie Edgar (17-4-1) doesn't have one-punch knockout power.

Truth is, he doesn't need it.

What "The Answer" lacks in torque, he more than makes up for in volume. And while some fighters are struggling to keep their hands up in the later rounds, Edgar is still firing on all cylinders, sticking, moving, and more importantly, landing on each and every one of his foes.

Usually until they fall.

That was the case in his third go-round against Gray Maynard at UFC 136 back in late 2011. After what looked like certain doom in the opening round -- thanks to a "Bully" beatdown -- Edgar weathered the storm, battled back, and sealed the deal in the latter half of the fourth frame.

Have a look:

Impressive.

But his UFC Fight Night 57 opponent Cub Swanson (21-5), who greets "The Answer" in this Saturday night's (Nov. 22, 2014) five-round mixed martial arts (MMA) headliner on FOX Sports 1 in Austin, Texas, knows a thing or two about putting his opponents out to pasture.

Four of the six victims on his current winning streak -- which dates back to late 2011 -- have succumbed to his ever-improving boxing. That includes combatants known for their stand-up arsenal, including The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 8 champion Ross Pearson.

And kickboxing veteran Dennis Siver, who was unlucky enough to get in the way of the streaking Jackson-Winkeljohn product at the UFC 162 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The results speak for themselves.

Just another day at the office.

Now it's time to find out which of these two contenders will get the next crack at reigning division kingpin Jose Aldo, or perhaps a potential showdown against featherweight phenom Conor McGregor. Fortunately, we're less than 48 hours away from getting our "Answer."
