Bellator announces four title defenses in first quarter of 2015 featuring Emanuel Newton, Joe Warren, and more!

Bellator MMA has outlined an ambitious Spike TV schedule of title defenses to kick off 2015 -- and they'll have to hope none of these fighters falls victim to illness or injury between now and then.

Patricio "Pitbull" Freire will make his first title defense since defeating Pat Curran at Bellator 123 in September when he faces former champion Daniel Straus, who is coming off a strong first-round knockout win over Justin Wilcox.

Bellator 132 takes place in Temecula, California, on January 16th.

Bellator 133 will feature a doubleheader of title bouts. As previously announced, Paul "Semtex" Daley will challenge Douglas Lima for the welterweight title, but we'll also see "The Hardcore Kid" Emanuel Newton attempt his third title defense against the undefeated Liam McGeary, winner of the 2014 light heavyweight summer series.

This "British Invasion" card will take place on February 27th in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Rounding out the list of new title bouts announced by Bellator is a war at Bellator 134, where the trash talking self-described "Baddest Man on the Planet" Joe Warren will make his first bantamweight title defense against Marcos Galvao. Warren previously beat Galvao at Bellator 41 in what was largely viewed as a controversial decision.

The latter title bout is scheduled for the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma on March 27th.
