The main card of tonight's (Sat., Nov. 15, 2014) UFC 180: "Werdum vs. Hunt" pay-per-view (PPV) at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, Mexico kicked off with welterweight veteran Edgar Garcia making his long awaited return to the Octagon -- for him, at least -- to battle The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 19 contestant Hector Urbina.
It looked like a mismatch from the word "go."
Garcia quickly took Urbina down, transitioned to back control, and sank the hooks in. He threatened to finish the fight from there but the former TUF guy battled back. He pressed Garcia up against the fence and when an opportunity presented itself, he locked in a tight guillotine.
To the surprise of everyone, it got the tap and the submission win at 3:38 of the very first round.
Impressive.
