UFC 183: Tom Watson vs. Rafael Natal booked for Jan. 31 in Las Vegas

A middleweight match up between Tom Watson and Rafael Natal has been penciled in for the upcoming UFC 183: "Silva vs. Diaz" pay-per-view (PPV) mixed martial arts (MMA) event on Jan. 31, 2014 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC announced the booking on Thursday.

Watson (17-7) has struggled to live up to his lofty expectations after running the table on the European circuit. "Kong" is just 2-3 since joining the ZUFFA family back in late 2012, but managed to grind out a win against Sam Alvey his last time out.

Natal (18-6-1) has also been hot-and-cold over the past few years. After losing back-to-back fights to Ed Herman and Tim Kennedy, "Sapo" worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Chris Camozzi at the UFC Fight Night 50 event last September.

Who takes it?

UFC 183 will be headlined by the 185-pound "super fight" between Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz. Elsewhere on the card, Thiago Alves gets crackin' against Jordan Mein in welterweight action, while Andy Enz and Thiago Santos hook 'em up at middleweight.
