Dan Henderson vs. Gegard Mousasi co-main event booked for UFC on FOX 14 on Jan. 24 in Sweden

He's back!

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has booked Dan Henderson for his middleweight return against fellow well-traveled veteran Gegard Mousasi in the UFC on FOX 14 co-main event inside the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, on Jan. 24, 2015.

UFC announced the pairing on Wednesday.

Henderson (30-12) returns to the lower weight class after a dismal run at 205 pounds, one that included a 1-4 stretch and a lopsided beatdown at the hands of Daniel Cormier last May. While "Hendo" held light heavyweight gold in Strikeforce, he's now 44 years old and terribly undersized for the division.

He's not the only one.

Mousasi (35-5-2) also bounced around between the two divisions before settling on middleweight under the UFC banner. While he ran the table in Strikeforce, he's just 2-2 inside the Octagon with recent losses to Lyoto Machida and Ronaldo Souza.

But unlike "Hendo," he's still only 29 years of age.

UFC on FOX 14, which will be headlined by the epic light heavyweight showdown pitting Alexander Gustafsson opposite Anthony Johnson, is also expected to feature a welterweight bangfest between Matt Brown and Tarec Saffiedine, with "Prelims" bouts likely to air on UFC Fight Pass and FOX Sports 1.
