Just another day at the office for Ronda Rousey?
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight titleholder is currently a -1300 favorite over division No. 1 contender Cat Zingano, who recently put pen to paper for their UFC 184 co-main event on Feb. 28, 2014 in Los Angeles, California.
That leaves "Alpha" the +700 underdog, according to Best Fight Odds.
While both ladies are undefeated, Rousey (10-0) has looked nearly invincible, while Zingano (9-0) usually needs a round or two to get going, like she did against Amanda Nunes at UFC 178 last September in "Sin City." Considering the champion's pedigree both on the ground and on the feet, there is a very small margin for error.
That's not all.
In the headlining affair, UFC middleweight kingpin Chris Weidman has been pegged as the -475 favorite, whereas top title challenger and former two-division champion Vitor Belfort is the +375 underdog. Perhaps the bookies agree with this recent assessment?
Expect these lines to shift prior to fight night. But in which direction?
