Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight Cody Gibson had a busy night back on Sept. 27, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to brawling with longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) veteran Manny Gamburyan at the UFC 178 pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza (results here), "The Renegade" was also seen mixing it up with some schmuck at a local watering hole after the event.
TMZ (naturally) has video of his encounter and a description below:
In the video, you can actually hear Cody tell the other man "Google me, bitch!" But the other guy didn't listen ... and instead of googling, he SOCKED CODY IN THE FACE. Cody was stunned ... but didn't go down ... and responded by tackling the guy to the ground.
Roger Huerta is not impressed.
Gibson (12-5) has just one win inside the Octagon since making his ZUFFA debut back in February, a first-round technical knockout victory over Johny Bedford at UFC Fight Night 44 last June in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to that "Brutal" bout, the Tachi Palace Fights veteran dropped a unanimous decision to Aljamain Sterling.
I'm giving him the bar fight by split decision based on takedowns.
