UFC Fight Night 54 bonuses: Rory MacDonald knockout earns $50K

UFC Fight Night 54: "MacDonald vs. Saffiedine" from the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.

This time around, Rory MacDonald delivered the goods with a third round knockout of Tarec Saffiedine in the main event so the goods were delivered to him in the form of a "Performance of the Night" bonus. Elsewhere, Olivier Aubin's inverted triangle choke submission finish of Jake Lindsey was good enough to net him some extra bacon.

The "Fight of the Night" was awarded to the Chris Kelades vs. Patrick Holohan battle on the night's preliminary card. The former earned a hard fought unanimous decision victory over the latter.
