After announcing he would be taking his vocal talents to the gridiron as a play-by-play man for NFL on FOX, longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) commentator, Mike Goldberg, recently revealed which football games he would be covering.
According to his recent Twitter post, Goldberg will be covering two consecutive Minnesota Vikings games when the team heads to Detroit on Oct. 12 to face the Lions. The following week, Goldie travels to Minnesota to call the action against the Buffalo Bills.
GREAT SUNDAY! My boss at Fox just said..Goldie..Week 6 Detroit at Minnesota..Week 7 Minny at Buffalo..and the Wild are in town!! BIG DRIVE

Pegged with the duty of covering back-to-back Minnesota Vikings games won't come as much of a surprise with those familiar with Goldie's work with another local pro team, the NHL's Minnesota Wild.
Goldberg does have plenty of professional football broadcasting experience under his belt, as he covered pre-season Arizona Cardinals games in the past.
Looking at UFC's calendar, there are no scheduled events taking place during those dates, so Goldie's contributions for the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion won't suffer as a result of his new gig.
Anyone plan on tuning in to see how he does? And maybe catch a couple of good football games in the process?
