When the official scorecards were read at the conclusion of the UFC Fight Night 53 main event, which took place on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 4, 2014) on Fight Pass inside the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, Rick Story made the say what? face when the score of 48-47 was announced in favor of Gunnar Nelson.
He probably wasn't the only one.
"The Horror" was victimized by a couple of takedowns early, but popped right back up and seemed to have a clear-cut striking advantage throughout the entire five-round fight. Nelson was even knocked down in the fourth frame and was close to being pounded out.
Maybe judge Jim Bergman (via Chamatkar Sandhu) was playing Candy Crush and missed it?
Fortunately, it was the last fight on the card, so Bergman was in no danger of getting tossed.
