Ronda Rousey vs. Bryan Caraway? Joe Rogan open to 'chick vs dude' UFC fight if they both 'talk enough s--t'

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

I guess we should be glad that Joe Rogan is color commentator, and not Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matchmaker.

That's because the former Fear Factor host would be open to letting men fight women, assuming they were in the same weight class, a topic that is once again heating up as transgender fighter Fallon Fox makes headlines in mixed martial arts (MMA).

And I guess Ronda Rousey vs. Bryan Caraway is as good a place to start as any, according to Rogan's comments on his official podcast (via MMA Nuts):

"If you know that a chick used to be a dude, but is now a chick and you fight her, I'm on board. I think it should be legal to ride bulls, I think it should be legal to jump BMX, you should be able to do whatever the fuck you wanna do. I think a 135-pound chick should be able to fight a 135-pound dude. I think if Ronda Rousey and Bryan Caraway talked enough shit and they decided to go at it, I don't have any problem with that if they both agree to it."

UFC 200: "Chick vs. Dude."

Rousey and Caraway have beef dating back to "Rowdy's" double-dip against Miesha Tate -- girlfriend of "Kid Lightning" -- including time spent under the same roof on season 18 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). While Rousey is probably as good as any male middleweight bantamweight -- particularly in the grappling department -- there isn't a stateside commission that would rubber-stamp that kind of spectacle.
