Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight contender Phil Davis got himself back into the mix in the co-main event of last night's (Sat., Oct. 25, 2014) UFC 179: "Aldo vs. Mendes 2" pay-per-view (PPV) event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, thanks to an ugly-but-effective unanimous decision win over 205-pound power puncher Glover Teixeira (recap here). Not sure what else to say about this bout other than "Mr. Wonderful" won't be winning any style points, but when it comes to winning fights, he has a game plan that is (usually) tough to beat.
