The complete UFC 179 fight card will air later this evening (Sat., Oct. 25, 2014) on two different stations -- FOX Sports 1 and pay-per-view (PPV) -- as well as online via "Fight Pass" digital network. In UFC 179's five-round main event, Featherweight champion Jose Aldo will look to defend his 145-pound title once again when he collides with No. 1 contender, Chad Mendes, in a rematch two years in the making

UFC 179: "Aldo vs. Mendes 2," which will emanate from Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will also feature a meaningful Light Heavyweight clash between top-ranked contenders Glover Teixeira against Phil Davis in the pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event of the evening.

UFC 179 will begin around 7 p.m. ET with the 155-pound scrap between Fabricio Camoes vs. Tony Martin, which will stream LIVE on Fight Pass. The hour-long "Prelims" under card will then switch to FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m., featuring a Welterweight showdown between The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Brazil 2" standout, William Macario, taking on the undefeated in 2014 (4-0), Neil Magny, as well as a fun Lightweight scrap Yan Cabral vs. Naoyuki Kotani, among others.
