Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MIMMA) 2: "Grand Finals" returns to Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Oct. 25, 2014, featuring an 11-fight mixed martial arts (MMA) card headlined by former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight Will "The Kill" Chope, as he makes his cagefighting return against Matt "Liquid Monkey" Pellino.
You can watch the entire show LIVE and FREE on fight night via Tune Talk by clicking here.
The co-main event of the evening will present an interesting clash of styles as Mark Striegl looks to rebound from the first loss of his professional combat sports career against Kaiwhare Kara-France, who is also working his way back into the win column after being upended last May.
And these two are no stranger to the Malaysian fight scene.
Striegl (12-1) has been terrorizing the international circuit for the better part of five years, including flawless runs through both Legend Fighting Championship (Legend FC) and Malaysian Fighting Championship (MFC). The 26-year-old Filipino has a well-rounded skill set but is particularly lethal on the ground, finishing 10 of his 12 victims by way of submission.
"Mugen" won't rest until he induces a tap, nap, or snap.
Kara-France (7-4) has just one defeat over his last six fights and proved he's just as dangerous on the feet as he is on the ground, putting Ho-Joon Kim to sleep with a violent head-kick knockout at PRO Fighting 8 back in Aug. of 2013. "Kai," still only 21, honed his formidable skills with Tiger Muay Thai / Strike Force Auckland and would make a huge statement with an upset win over Striegl this weekend in Kuala Lumpur.
High stakes equals high reward for this fellow Legend FC veteran.
