Video: Scott Coker re-brands Bellator MMA as 'Spikeforce'
I'll say one thing about Scott Coker, he certainly has a sense of humor (9:04 mark). The former Strikeforce CEO, who was hired to replace the deposed Bjorn Rebney as President of Bellator MMA, is asking the mixed martial arts (MMA) community to give him 18 months to right the ship, in which time the tournament format will be scrapped, new talent will be signed, and exciting fights will be promoted. Coker, who helped discover the next generation of stars including Ronda Rousey, Daniel Cormier, and Luke Rockhold, among others, is expecting the future to yield big numbers for Spike TV. But will you be patient enough to stick around for the results?
