Jose Aldo: Even though Anthony Pettis 'backed out' of UFC super fight, I still intend to face him

While reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo still has to get through Chad Mendes at UFC 179 this weekend in Brazil (more on that here), he still hasn't forgotten about the time lightweight champion Anthony Pettis challenged him to a 145-pound "super fight" -- only to later back out. Perhaps if "Showtime" can get past Gilbert Melendez in December, the Aldo vs. Pettis chatter can regain some momentum. Unless, of course, a certain "Notorious" Irishman crashes the featherweight party.
