Henry Cejudo's Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) career didn't get off to the start he and mixed martial arts (MMA) fans had hoped.

The Olympic gold medal-winning wrestler was forced to withdraw from his UFC 177 fight against Scott Jorgensen -- which was set to go down on Aug. 30, 2014, in Sacramento, California -- because of complications with his cut down to 125 pounds (details).

UFC President Dana White, however, ultimately decided to give the rising MMA star a second chance to make a first impression. But, only if he agreed to come back as a bantamweight, not a flyweight, to avoid another near life-threatening incident.

Not one to pass up a second chance, Cejudo agreed to the stipulation and is gearing up to make his Octagon debut on Dec. 13, 2014, when he takes on Dustin Kimura at UFC on FOX 13, which will go down from U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona -- Henry's home state -- according to AZ Central.

Cejudo will look to make a splash in his debut and keep his undefeated record (6-0, 0-0 UFC) alive by handing Kimura his second straight UFC loss.

Easier said than done.

UFC on FOX 13 will be headlined by a heavyweight showdown pitting former division kingpin, Junior dos Santos, against heavy-hitting striker Stipe Miocic. In the co-main event of the evening, Nate Diaz makes his much-anticipated return to the Octagon when he faces Rafael dos Anjos in a pivotal lightweight scrap.

Also on the card, Alistair Overeem will look to get back on the the horse winning track when he welcomes Stefan Struve back to the cage.
