Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MIMMA) 2: "Grand Finals" returns to Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Oct. 25, 2014, featuring an 11-fight mixed martial arts (MMA) card headlined by former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight Will "The Kill" Chope, as he makes his cagefighting return against Matt "Liquid Monkey" Pellino.
You can watch the entire show LIVE and FREE on fight night via Tune Talk by clicking here.
The MIMMA lightweight championship is up for grabs after Allen Chong vacated the title earlier this year, and that means Selangor supercop Muhammad Hasrul (4-2) is going to bring his own brand of heavy-handed justice on Saturday night in Kuala Lumpur.
Hasrul breezed through the tournament earlier this year by dispatching Gary Maclay and Kim Lee Tan, before the Ultimate Malaysian Fighter (UMF)-trained prospect turned the division on its head with a stunning upset over Khoo Lee Kian in the semifinals.
But "Secsyen" has his work cut out for him this weekend.
Richie Celestial (3-0) put the entire division on notice when he scored a violent technical knockout victory over Brandon Yea at last May's Ladder Match. Not one to rest on his laurels, the Team Karabaw / NOMAD representative followed that up by armbarring Ahmad Zakariya, then took a hard-fought decision win over Vinod Dave Singh to earn his spot in the Grand Finals.
Two hungry lightweights, but only one lightweight title.
