The Bellator 129 weigh in event will take place this afternoon (Thurs., Oct. 16, 2014) inside the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with a start time of 6 p.m. ET.
This week's show is headlined by two former UFC fighters seeking greater glory inside the confines of a Bellator cage. Josh "The Dentist" Neer returns to the promotion where he fought Eddie Alvarez four years ago against two-time Bellator vet "The Gentleman" Paul Bradley, seeking a return to his winning ways after dropping a decision to Nathan Coy back in March.
These two fighters will try to meet the welterweight limit.
In the co-main event, late replacement "Rezdog" Virgil Zwicker and the hard hitting "Assassin" Houston Alexander have tentatively agreed to meet at 215 pounds, though they can't be even an ounce over that limit when they step on the scales. Both have bounced back and forth between light heavyweight and heavyweight in their careers, so one would assume this wouldn't be a problem -- but it's all up to the scales.
That's not all.
