Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MIMMA) 2: "Grand Finals" is headed to Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Oct. 25, 2014, featuring an 11-fight mixed martial arts (MMA) card headlined by former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight Will "The Kill" Chope, as he makes his cagefighting return against Matt "Liquid Monkey" Pellino.
You can watch the entire show LIVE and FREE on fight night via Tune Talk by clicking here.
So ... are you ready for some championship action? Jing Yi Chong (4-1) put the entire middleweight division on notice back in 2013 after capturing the 185-pound strap with his destruction of Hafiz Chandran in last year's Grand Finals (pic), also in Kuala Lumpur.
"Jim" -- known to his friends as "The Korean Bear" -- trains out of Ultimate MMA Academy under Muay Thai champion Melvin Yeoh, widely-considered the godfather of Malaysian MMA. In addition to his impressive ground game, Chong also boasts solid takedown defense and heavy hands from mount.
Not bad for just three years in the fight game.
That said, "The Believer" is undoubtedly facing his stiffest test to date in Stephen Onn (5-0), who absolutely destroyed the competition during the MIMMA tryouts earlier this year. After choking out Theeban Govindasamy, the GymBox-product obliterated Wong Eng Wooi and Nicholas Jeffery by way of technical knockout.
