How much money does Ronda Rousey make? 'Rowdy' UFC champ doesn't want people to know her 'private' salary

How much money does Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey make for her duties both inside and outside the Octagon?

None of your goddamn business.

Unfortunately for "Rowdy," who believes her "comfortable" earnings are private, most stateside athletic commissions disclose fight purses for each event. For example, Rousey's destruction of Alexis Davis back in July pulled in $120,000 ($60,000 to show, $60,000 to win).

But that doesn't include undisclosed bonuses, pay-per-view (PPV) points, and other incentives.

"The money that I make, I'm very, very happy, and I'm very, very satisfied," Rousey told Bruce Buffer's "It's Time!" podcast (via MMA Junkie). "It's also very, very private. I don't want people to know how much money I'm making. I can just say I'm very comfortable and very well taken care of. So are all these other women, from what I know they're extremely well taken care of. The UFC is special in that they're willing to make themselves look bad so the fighters have to deal with less."

I'm sure not everyone would agree with that last part, but special fighters get special treatment.

In fairness to Rousey, I think most of us would be uncomfortable if we logged on to MMAmania.com and saw a post that listed our individual salaries. Well, not me because I'm rich, but you starving common folk would probably be aghast if we started counting the coins in your coffee can.

In addition, the "Rowdy" mixed martial arts (MMA) star -- who is even bigger than Brock Lesnar -- has also expanded her brand to Hollywood, where she is undoubtedly pulling in a pretty penny for her big-time movie roles alongside some of cinema's elite.

Just how pretty is for her to know and you to never find out.
