It's official.
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Nations" coaches, Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke, will settle their differences in the co-main event of the combat sports reality show's upcoming live finale, which takes place on April 16, 2014 inside Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City, Canada, on FOX Sports 1.
UFC announced the booking earlier today (watch it).
Cote (19-8) made his mark on the TUF "Comeback" season back in 2006, but fell to Travis Lutter by way of armbar in the season finale. Since then, "The Predator" has gone 6-4 inside the Octagon, but is riding a two-fight winning streak dating back to July 2012.
It's safe to consider him the hometown hero.
Noke (20-6), meanwhile, emerged from TUF 11 with three straight wins, before hitting a 1-2 rough patch over the last two years. He was able to get back into the win column by pounding out Charlie Brenneman at the UFC 152 pay-per-view (PPV) in Canada (of all places).
Time for the Aussie to sink or swim in hostile territory.
Tickets for "Nations" -- which also crowns a TUF winner in the middleweight and welterweight divisions -- go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 with UFC Fight Club members and UFC newsletter subscribers getting special pre-sale opportunities prior to that.
