Mark Hunt faces Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva in Australia in December

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced a heavyweight tilt late Sunday night (Sept. 8, 2013) for UFC Fight Night 33 in Brisbane, Australia. Mark Hunt will square off with Antonio Silva in the main event of the evening. The card will air live on Fox Sports 1.

Mark Hunt was last seen on the receiving end of Junior Dos Santos' spinning back kick to the head at UFC 160 that crushed all title hopes for the 'Super Samoan'. Hunt was riding a four fight winning streak, with a possible title shot on the line if he was able to fell Dos Santos.

He'll get a chance to get back in the 'WIN' column in Australia against Antonio Silva.

Silva is coming off of his own devastating loss at the hands of Cain Velasquez at UFC 160. Silva earned his shot by playing spoiler by knocking out Alistair Overeem at UFC 156. A win over Hunt will put him back in the title hunt.
