UFC makes Rick Story vs Brian Ebersole official for UFC 167

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced this afternoon (Sept. 8, 2013) that welterweights Brian Ebersole and Rick Story will meet at UFC 167 on November 16, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. UFC 167 is headlined by Georges St. Pierre hoping to defend his UFC Welterweight title against Johny Hendricks.

This is a tough return bout for Ebesole, who has been on the sidelines for over a year after losing a split decision to James Head at UFC 149 in Calgary, Canada. Before that loss, Ebersole was riding a four fight winning streak inside the Octagon.

Story is also hoping to rebound off of a split decision loss at the hands of Mike Pyle at UFC 160 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Story has had a rough go in the UFC's welterweight division, going 8-5 in the promotion.
