Ronaldo Souza believes he should be next in the line for a title shot in the middleweight division and considering how impressive he looked in knocking out perennial top contender Yushin Okami at tonight's (Wed., Sept. 4, 2013) UFC Fight Night 28: "Teixeira vs. Bader" event in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, he may just get his wish.
"Jacare" hit hard, he hit fast, and he hit first, utterly destroying "Thunder" within a matter of minutes. His performance was such that UFC President Dana White took to Twitter to applaud it:
Jacre is the REAL DEAL!!!!!!! Wow destroying Okami is a BIG DEAL!!!!

That's exactly the endorsement he needs to get where he wants to go. Well, one of them. He's also going to need support from the fan base demanding for as much. So, are you Maniacs anxious to see him attempt to wrest the title away from the winner of Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman later this year?
