Jon Jones vs Alexander Gustafsson full fight video highlights online from UFC 165

This may have been the greatest light heavyweight title fight in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). It really might have been.

After an unbelievable 25 minutes, five full rounds of absolute mixed martial arts (MMA) action, one leaky cut above an eye, another leaky cut under an eye, what seemed like one million spinning kicks and elbows, a near finish, and some unbelievable takedowns and takedown defense, Jon Jones is still your Light Heavyweight champion.

He retained the title by earning a unanimous decision victory over Alexander Gustafsson in the main event of last night's (Sat., Sept. 21, 2013) UFC 165 pay-per-view (PPV) event at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

With the victory, "Bones" broke two records: Most title defenses at 205-pounds and most consecutive title defenses at 205-pounds. But, it took everything he had to get there.

Indeed, Gustafsson gave him the fight of his life, forcing him into uncomfortable positions, cutting him wide open, and testing his cardio like no one before him. The pressure was on, and Jones proved worthy of his title by responding with the performance of a lifetime. No, he wasn't dominant like he always seems to be.

He was just a champion.
