Following the Michael Bisping vs. Mark Munoz headliner at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 30 event, which is set to take place in Manchester, England, on Oct. 26, 2013, "The Count" made it clear that in victory, he wants a shot at newly-crowned middleweight champion, Chris Weidman.
Not so fast.
If in fact he does prove victorious against "The Filipino Wrecking Machine," Bisping may find himself paired off against Ronaldo Souza, according to Ariel Helwani, who was informed by the Brazilian's manager that "Jacare" will be stalking the FOX Sports 1 main event.
And when you're knocking out opponents like Souza has been, you can start picking and choosing who you want to fight next.
But first, he needs to get back into fighting shape.
The foot injury he suffered against Yushin Okami will need 180 days to get better, which puts him back inside the Octagon by Jan. or Feb. of 2014. If the promotion has other plans, no problem, Souza is willing to step up to the light heavyweight division if there aren't any big fights on the 185-pound radar.
Against who?
Perhaps the outcome of Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night 32 in November could "change things." Of the potential match-ups involving the mentioned interchangeable parts, which of these fights do you yearn for most?
Sound off!
