You might notice that the odds are a tiny bit closer than the average Mayweather Jr. fight. Against Robert Guerrero, your best bargain on "Money" was about -650, or about -600 against Victor Ortiz.

Honestly, Mayweather Jr. via decision seems a great bet to me -- the chances of him stopping Alvarez are very low and -190 is a hell of a bargain when you're talking about probably the best pound-for-pound fighter of the last decade.

Likewise, if you're dead-set on putting coin down on Alvarez, +400 on a stoppage is the way to go. No matter how much of a fan-favorite he is, "Canelo" absolutely has to finish Mayweather to win in Las Vegas. It's the kind of fight that invariably favors "Money" if it goes the distance.

Stay away from the specific rounds, though, because that's how the sportsbooks get you.
