Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is closing out its 2013 fight campaign with a bang, lining up three separate mixed martial arts (MMA) events for the month of December, on two different continents across three separate broadcast viewing channels.
And kicking things off will be UFC Fight Night 33.
"Hunt vs. Bigfoot" will feature a titanic heavyweight tilt pitting former PRIDE and K-1 striker Mark Hunt against Brazilian Behemoth Antonio Silva, which goes down on Dec. 7, 2013 from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Queensland, Australia, on FOX Sports 1.
Light Heavyweight "Hippo," Anthony Perosh, is also expected to compete.
The promotion was on hand in Brisbane earlier this week for a special pre-fight press conference to get fans and media talking about the end-of-year event. Sorry, no staredowns, as this quick hitter only featured the two local favorites and UFC Director of Operations, Tom Wright.
