This Wednesday (September 4, 2013), the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Fox Sports 1 with an all-day affair. Kicking off the night is UFC Fight Night 28: Bader vs Teixeira live from Belo Horizonte, Brazil which will lead into the season premiere of the Ultimate Fighter.
UFC Fight Night 28 is headlined by Ryan Bader and Glover Teixeira battling for their place in the UFC's light heavyweight division. Teixeira is currently knocking on the door for a title shot, so Bader finds himself in the role of being the spoiler.
Also on the card is a middleweight matchup between Ronaldo Souza and Yushin Okami. Souza is the former Strikeforce Middleweight champion making his UFC debut. Okami is the one-time contender looking to work his way back into the title picture.
Following the fights, stay on Fox Sports 1 as the 18th season of the Ultimate Fighter debuts, coached by Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. This is the first season where men and women will compete on the show and live in the same house together.
While there hasn't been any reports of a TUF baby, you know there will be shenanigans.
The day kicks off at 4:00 p.m. ET with the UFC Fight Night pre-show on Fox Sports 1. The preliminary card starts at 5:00 p.m. ET before the main card fights at 7:00 p.m. ET. Finally, the TUF debut goes live at 10:00 p.m. ET.
