Bellator MMA today (Aug. 5, 2013) held a special media press conference to fill in the initial details for the promotion's first foray into pay-per-view (PPV) with Bellator 106: "Jackson vs Ortiz," which is scheduled to take place later this year (Nov. 2) at the Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, California.
Attending today's press conference/media call were the headlining fighters, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions Quinton Jackson and Tito Ortiz, as well as Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney.
All three participants were asked a wide variety of questions ranging from pricing details, support on the undercard, plans for promotion of the event and of course the biggest question of them all.....why?
Of course, Rampage and Tito had their moments, talking about putting their friendship aside, their issues they had with their former employers (UFC), why they're happier where they are now and of course, their history in promoting PPVs.
