Check out highlights of Travis Browne's insane front kick knockout of Alistair Overeem in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 26 tonight (Sat., Aug. 17, 2013) in Boston, Massachusetts. No, really, it was insane. Come see for yourself.

Travis Browne shocks the world, not just because he knocked out Alistair Overeem in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 26: "Shogun vs. Sonnen" tonight (Sat., Aug. 17, 2013) at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, Mass., and not just because he did so after nearly getting finished in the opening minutes of the fight and making a roaring comeback. No, this was a huge shocker because he managed to knock "The Reem," the vaunted K-1 LEVEL STRIKER, out cold with a front kick to the face, shades of Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort back at UFC 126. Maybe it wasn't as aesthetically pleasing, but the bigger they are the harder they fall. And the longer. Good god, it took forever for the Dutchman to fall back to the mat, but once he got there, the Hawaiian "Hapa" had a couple hammerfists waiting for him. Overeem's head bouncing off the mat twice was enough to confirm he was done for and now we're left to ponder a heavyweight landscape where "Demolition Man" is no longer a contender -- not even close -- and Browne might actually be a force to be reckoned with ... maybe. Fun fun. For more on Browne's knockout victory click here, and for complete UFC Fight Night 26 results and blow-by-blow coverage of all the night's action click here.
