UFC on FOX 8 payouts and salaries: Robbie Lawler kicks his way into top spot with $156,000 payday

UFC on FOX 8 fighter payouts and salaries for those who competed at the "Johnson vs. Moraga" event this past Saturday night (July 27, 2013) from the KeyArena in Seattle, were released earlier today (via MMA Weekly) by the Washington State Department of Licensing.

Longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) veteran Robbie Lawler took the top spot -- by leaps and bounds -- following his head kick knockout over Bobby Voelker ($12,000) on the "Emerald City" main card. His "Ruthless" salary of $156,000 is nearly $100k more than UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson, who picked up $58,000 for tapping John Moraga ($17,000).

Don't hate the playa ... hate the game.

Coming in a distant second was the hot-and-cold Melvin Guillard, who unfortunately for Mac Danzig, was on fire last Saturday in Seattle, picking up $84,000 for sleeping the Vegan warrior, who limps home with $30,000 in defeat.
