"Wanderlei [Silva] if you somehow believe ‘Shogun' is going to somehow save you from the thrashing I'm going to give you, that's wishful thinking at best. Look, when I'm done with ‘Shogun' I'm going to put Wanderlei Silva in a headlock, walk him around the Octagon like a dog, then I'm going to give him a noogie on his bald head."
-- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight, and soon-to-be-middleweight, Chael Sonnen, fires back at former PRIDE champion Wanderlei Silva, who recently said Sonnen would hang up the gloves after Mauricio Rua gets his hands on him next month at the debut UFC on FOX Sports 1 card on Aug. 17, 2013 in Boston, Massachusetts. A fight between Sonnen and "The Axe Murderer" has been on the docket for years, but has never come to fruition for one reason or another. Silva believes it will never happen because his countrymen "Shogun" will force Sonnen to retire after their main event battle; however, "The American Gangster" clearly disagrees and says nothing will stop him from one day getting the highly anticipated fight with Silva.
