Pardon my Brazilian accent, but Honda is going to Hollywood!
Word busted mere hours ago that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey will join the all-star cast of "The Expendables 3," which already comprises Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Milla Jovovich, Mickey Rourke, Jackie Chan, Dolph Lundgren, Steven Seagal, Wesley Snipes, Jason Statham, Jet Li and Nicolas Cage, among others.
Stallone, who has served as director for the action film franchise, shared the good news via Twitter.com:
Ronda Rousey will show championship form in Expendables 3! So will multi champion Victor Ortiz!

Rousey is clearly making the most of her ascent to mixed martial arts (MMA) stardom and is following in the footsteps of pioneer Gina Carano in becoming the face of women's MMA before transitioning to big-time films. For our own sakes, we hope she stays in the fight game for some time before going Hollywood and decides to make the big bucks without getting punched in the face for good.
Hopefully, her filming won't be any worse than the time Quinton Jackson spent filming "The A-Team," which ultimately led to his acrimonious departure from the organization. The Expendables 3, which will be directed by Patrick Hughes, is expected to be released in Aug. 2014.
For the purpose of context, "The Expendables 2" hauled in more than $312 million in 2012, while the first installment did almost $275 million back in 2010.
That's seems like more than enough scratch to buy her very own "fantastic rack."
