"Yeah guys. My fans in the UFC and my fans in the world. I go back to fight. Weidman and Anderson Silva. I back. Trust me, I back."
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva is back, or so he says, to get revenge on Chris Weidman at the UFC 168 pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for Dec. 28, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada (see the official announcement here). That's the same venue where "The Spider" coughed up his crown in the first place (replay here) after getting knocked out by the "All American" in the second stanza. But was Silva upended at UFC 162 because he was goofing around ... or because Weidman was the better fighter? We're going to find out in the headliner of the promotion's annual year-end mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganza. If you're looking to get tickets, featuring a co-main event of Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate, you might want to get in line now.
